The Scanifab Story
Back in the day
The Obsession
It all started with the purchase of an OG93 monte carlo yellow SE sport. At 20 years old, not the usual suspecting 'boy racer' car to enjoy.
Far from the crowd, but something which drew quite the attention. Both good and bad.
Now for somebody at a young age, this become the new project, something to tinker.. Ultimately sparking the love for what we have for the brand.
The 'Monte' become a learning curve. A daily driver turned project which absorbed countless hours in the evenings. With plenty of "what if" ideas. Usually after a couple of beers.
This become the obsession.
THE BIT IN THE MIDDLE
The Enthusiasm
After the Montes demise. We continued to stick with the brand. Owning and lightly modifying various NG93 platforms.
TTID and 2.0T mainly just to enjoy as steady cruisers and to really adventure out with what the brand has to offer. What makes these cars feel so special?
During this time, we also plunged into the track days more regulary, using a purpose built clio 172. Excuse my french!
Finally 'finishing' up with our current TurboX estate project.
The TurboX being the foundation for SCANIFAB.
